The Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development (MLITSD) is conducting a Farming & Agriculture Campaign from April 1, 2026, to March 31, 2027, focused on helping Ontario agricultural workplaces meet their health and safety responsibilities under the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA). The campaign includes farms, greenhouses, and other agricultural operations where inspectors may review workplace practices, hazard controls, worker training, and compliance activities.
To help employers, supervisors, and workers prepare, we've curated a collection of resources aligned with the campaign's focus areas, along with additional health and safety resources that support Ontario's farming and agriculture sector. Being inspection-ready means demonstrating that hazards are assessed, appropriate controls are in place, workers are trained, and records are available to support your efforts.
