The Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development (MLITSD) is conducting a Noise Campaign from April 1, 2026, to March 31, 2027. Inspectors may review how workplaces identify, assess, and control noise hazards, as well as worker training, hearing protection, and related documentation.
To help employers, supervisors, and workers prepare, we've curated resources aligned with the campaign's focus areas. Being inspection-ready means assessing noise hazards, implementing appropriate controls, training workers, and maintaining supporting records.
Work with our occupational hygiene specialists to identify noise hazards, conduct exposure assessments, and develop effective noise control strategies.
While not directly tied to the campaign's focus areas, these resources address other important health and safety topics that can help strengthen your workplace safety program, support worker well-being, and contribute to overall inspection readiness. These resources provide valuable guidance for employers, supervisors, and workers across Ontario.
