Robert Vomiero

As the use of automation and robotics in workplaces grows exponentially, WSPS’s customers can rely on Robert for a wide range of machine and robotic safety solutions, including consulting and training.

Robert's expertise is considerable. He is a Professional Mechanical Engineer, Functional Safety Engineer (TÜV Rheinland), Certified Machine Safety Expert (TÜV Nord), and a Certified Health and Safety Consultant (Canadian Society of Safety Engineering). He actively participates on standards development committees, and is an associate member on the CSA Z434-14 Industrial Robot Standard committee and an expert member on the ISO TC299/WG3 (ISO 10218) International Robot Standard committee.

Because of the significant hazards associated with the use of automated systems, Robert applauds WSPS's strong machine and robotics safety portfolio, which supports workplace prevention efforts. Before joining WSPS, Robert worked as a consultant, providing Pre-Start Health and Safety Reviews and machine safety services to workplaces. "Working with WSPS has provided new opportunities to reach even more workplaces, and to be involved in developing new machine and robotics services for customers."
