His academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME), a Master of Science in Naval Safety and Transportation (MSc.), and advanced certifications including National Construction Safety Officer (NCSO), Management of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS), and Certified Machinery Safety Expert (CMSE). He also advances safety through community service, including four years as a volunteer with the Skills Ontario workplace safety competition at both the provincial and national level.

Marius finds motivation in seeing workplace safety evolve through innovation.

The continuous improvement in technology and the ability to add tools, machines and equipment to help with workplace tasks is a strong motivator. Health and Safety is a never- ending learning process and the ability to share that with employers and workers gives me a sense of purpose.
