Competent Supervisors Training, Hazard Identification, and Safety Policies

Health and safety is a team effort — but every team needs a strong captain.   In this WSPS and  IHSA collaboration, we explore how supervisors in landscaping, arboriculture, and construction can lead by example and keep their crews safe.  You’ll learn how to identify hazards before work starts using a Job Safety Analysis (JSA), ensure workers are trained, competent, and using equipment correctly, plan safe work practices and control job site hazards, conduct safety talks and document training for due diligence and lead with accountability and protect every member of your crew.
