Healthy Workplace
The demanding and unpredictable nature of the
automotive manufacturing industry can cause mental
stress and mental health impacts to workers.
Poor mental health at work can cause physical
symptoms like headaches, and psychological issues
like depression, fatigue, and anxiety. This can lead to
more sick days, concentration difficulties, increased
incidents, and lower productivity.
Creating a healthy workplace including culture,
physical environment, employee well-being,
psychological safety and community involvement
communicates a commitment to the holistic well-
being of workers – while reducing risks and costs and
strengthening competitive advantage.
Keeping all workers healthy and safe can be achieved
through effective workplace policies and procedures,
strong communication and training strategies and by
actively fostering an inclusive environment.
