The Eisenhower urgency-importance matrix developed by former
president Dwight Eisenhower is a method for prioritizing tasks by
urgency and importance. This quick video explains how to manage
your tasks with Eisenhower and how it can be used in a workplace
setting to manage your workload.
An important part of a manager's job is making sure work is
distributed in an equitable way. This means delegating with
forethought and planning, considering realistic expectations based
on current workload and working styles. This Harvard Business
Review article titled Make Sure Your Team's Workload is Divided
Fairly explains some strategies to help divide tasks with these
considerations in mind.
