13+ Workplace Factors Toolkits | MARCH 2022 11 BACK TO CONTENTS If you are interested in improving psychological competencies and demands in your workplace, WSPS has carefully curated a selection of resources for you to explore: On the Agenda is a free series of workshop materials and facilitator tools created by Workplace Strategies for Mental Health to address all 13 workplace factors. Putting Psychological Competencies and Demands on the Agenda to focus on factor 5, psychological competencies and demands. The Canadian Centre on Substance Use and Addiction has created competency profiles that help organizations consider the psychological competencies required to perform a job successfully. Each profile contains tools that can be used both during the hiring process and as a performance management tool to ensure that psychological competencies are evaluated and reviewed on an ongoing basis. Based off the research of Dr. Joti Samra, CEO & Founder of MyWorkplacehealth, Workplace Strategies for Mental Health has established an Emotional Intelligence Self-Assessment that can help you improve your self-awareness, social awareness self-management and relationship management skills.
