Ministry of Labour to permit online training for JHSC Certification Part I
The Ontario government has announced that an online learning option will be permitted for Certification Part I training. Please be advised that this online option is not yet available. In compliance with the 2016 JHSC Training Standard, we recommend that customers proceed with attendance at onsite or public training courses. Please check back with us and we will update you on availability of an online option as soon as possible.

Slips, trips and falls will be the focus of an upcoming Ministry of Labour (MOL) provincial health and safety initiative, running April 15-July 12. To help businesses avoid common issues causing falls, the MOL has released a Fall from Heights Fatalities Analysis.
“A new era of enhanced transparency and clarity in premium rate setting begins for Ontario businesses on January 1, 2020,” says Ontario’s Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB). That's when a new premium rate-setting model takes effect.
“Pressure has been building on workplaces to provide physically as well as psychologically healthy and safe workplaces,” says WSPS Consultant Krista Schmid. “Many employers are talking about it and wondering what to do.”
