INDUSTRY DRIVEN, INDUSTRY FOCUSED PAGE | 10 RECOMMENDATIONS FOR ACTION The following five recommendations were proposed by the group. 1. Develop and consolidate trusted resources addressing the primary causes and ensure they are accessible and available to all. 2. Provide affordable, industry specific training on hazardous energy, LOTO, risk assessments, JHSC, etc. Include training for all levels of the organization, from workers to senior leadership and engineering and purchasing departments. 3. Develop a management system framework specific to the industry that is simple to understand, use and implement. Link to health and safety system incentives. 4. Create an automotive manufacturing partnership resource to allow for the sharing of challenges and best practices across the industry. 5. Provide free access to industry accepted standards (e.g., CSA Z460). " " "This was a good collaboration from different areas of the automobile manufacturing industry. It was nice to hear so many different approaches and different ideas." —Tracy Diamond, Linamar North America Worker Representative
