Every winter, snowplows are involved in incidents that could cause injury or property damage. Operators need to consider all conditions including size, environment and operator needs. What are some of the ways we can prevent incidents? ! Being alert and well rested is important otherwise fatigue while plowing can result in devastating and even fatal incidents. Prevention Points Since snow removal and plowing always takes place in severe weather conditions, extra precautions and care is necessary to avoid incidents. Conditions such as night and snowstorms reduce driver visibility which the operator needs to exercise extreme caution.
