What Supervisors Need to Know
This safety resource is a quick guide to pedestrian safety that can be used to foster a safe work
environment and give supervisors the knowledge and tools to reduce the risks when workers move
in the same areas as moving machinery. Doing visual checks in the workplace can ensure that
dangerous situations are identified and addressed.

equipment, slow down, sound the horn
and keep clear view of travel path.
