Supervisor Responsibilities
Monitor the workplace for hazards during day-to-day operations. Advise employees; both pedestrians
and operators of hazardous situations and ensure compliance with safety.
Provide any necessary training to operators and pedestrians to prevent collisions.
Ensure equipment is inspected and safe to operate and remove defective equipment from use
until repaired.
Provide regular safety communications to employees, including team huddles, pre-shift meetings;
and be consistent with your safety message.
