RISK HAZARDS
This resource focuses on identifying hazards. Identifying the hazard is the first step in
managing the hazard. In complex and potentially high-risk workplaces, it may be helpful
to assess the hazards to determine which pose the greatest risk to worker safety. A list
allows the workplace to prioritize hazards that are more likely to cause serious injury or
fatality. A continuous review allows the workplace to improve the controls to manage the
ongoing potential risk injury or illness.
