➜ Partner Associations – established 18 new industry partnerships, utilizing established channels to maximize reach. Increased engagement with many industry associations and partnered with Food and Beverage Ontario (FB0), Meat & Poultry Ontario (MPO) and Occupational Hygienists Association of Ontario (OHAO) on the development of customized content for their memberships. Increased engagement with association partners such as Restaurants Canada and Ontario Fruit and Vegetable Growers Association to support high risk and vulnerable sectors. ➜ Small Business and Community Outreach – 58 speaking engagements delivered to 854 small business representatives – Letters of Intent with 68 community groups and associations – 58 one on one meetings with small businesses through Downtown OHS Days in Thunder Bay, Streetsville and Niagara – 107 small businesses registered with the Small Business HSEp Study ➜ WSIB's Health and Safety Excellence Program (HSEp) – as the program provider with the largest membership, WSPS saw continued growth with 293 applications and launched a new, self-serve member community site with over 100,000 page views and 3,500 visits. WSPS' HSEp members have received $3,831,489 in rebates since the program's inception. ➜ CEO Health and Safety Leadership Network – 72 members of WSPS' network of senior corporate leaders who advocate for and influence safe workplaces in their communities contributed to the development of an essential resource for managers* on the topic of psychological safety. The network also launched The Trusted Leader blog in October 2022 and as of March 31, 2023, the blog has earned almost 20,000 page views. ➜ WSPS Volunteers – 300+ program volunteers assist WSPS in spreading the safety message at events and in consultation with small businesses throughout the province of Ontario. ➜ Events – WSPS delivered more than 2 dozen events in virtual, hybrid and in- person formats, reaching 2,192 participants. Topics included warehouse safety, violence, harassment, and de-escalation, legislative and legal updates, hazard and risk assessment for supervisors, and challenges related to hybrid work environments ➜ Co-branded courses – WSPS offered 27 co-branded courses with esteemed solution delivery partners such as Canadian Centre for Occupational Health and Safety (CCOHS) and Canadian Standards Association (CSA) in 2022/23. Topics included fall prevention, machine and robot safety, inspecting steel storage racks and more.
