3 | WSPS.CA/AnnualReport Two years into a global pandemic, the way forward for Workplace Safety & Prevention Services (WSPS) is shaped by continuously shifting customer needs, technological advances, and the possibilities offered by remote and hybrid work. As businesses strive to recover, WSPS has been there to assist. In 2021-22, post-services survey results show customers were highly satisfied with their work with WSPS: Consulting: 68% of respondents who had engaged WSPS consulting for onsite or virtual services felt workers and supervisors now had more information on how to work safely. This was 72% for small business* customers. Training: 74% of respondents (83% for small businesses) who had taken training with WSPS stated their knowledge increased at a high level** on a 5-pt scale (rated 4 or 5 on a 5-point scale) and strongly agreed that they can apply knowledge gained in their workplace (4.74/5). Businesses also had positive feelings to share about their work with WSPS, registering a Net Promoter Score of 53 (a 2% increase over 2020/21).*** Traditionally in its annual report, WSPS has focused on one-on-one stories, sharing experiences of working with individual customers. Although there were many such examples in 2021-22, as indicated in the above survey findings, this report largely showcases health and safety initiatives that reached – and are reaching – a broad network of businesses. As Ontario moves to "what's next", WSPS is committed to ensuring excellence in its in-person services while expanding its ability to reach an ever-growing number of businesses – bringing even more workers home, healthy and safe, at the end of the workday. *Results are based on respondents with an identified firm of less 50 employees **In response to the question "As a result of engaging WSPS with this contract, what has changed in your workplace?" ***A net promoter score of over 30 is considered good with most respondents as "promoters" of the program/service. THE WAY Forward
