Worksheet 6 also offers the opportunity to identify where further information may be needed regarding worker exposure and consequent effects on health. QUESTIONS 1. (a), (b): Determine if there were any problem areas where installation of a control or upgrading of current ones is required. QUESTIONS 2. (a), (b): Monitoring of the worker's exposure to airborne concentrations of the designated substance will determine the magnitude of worker exposure and help determine the effectiveness of existing controls. Note: Repetition of this worker exposure monitoring will be necessary after adjustments of existing controls or following the establishment of new ones. This will confirm that the designated substances airborne concentrations are within the acceptable limits. QUESTION 3: Medical testing may reveal the presence of certain substances in the exposed workers' blood or urine (depending on the substance) and any adverse health effects. Consult the Code for Medical Surveillance for the substance being assessed to determine the appropriate tests required. WSPS.CA
