COMPOSITION/INFORMATION ON INGREDIENTS (cont'd) When considering Exposure Assessment Strategies, always prioritize
sampling for ingredients with i) higher concentrations; and ii) lower
OELs. Data obtained from air sampling can be used to identify whether
compliance has been met with OELs. In this example, since the relative
concentrations of both Methanol and Methanoic Acid are high, both
ingredients would be prioritized for air exposure assessments. The CAS
Numbers of the materials can be used to identify the appropriate air
sampling method. Examples of validated air sampling methods can be
found at the following:

(IRSST) – Workplace Air Contaminants (Québec)

Analytical Methods (2014-151) (USA)

Analytical Methods (USA)
