TOXIC IN CONTACT WITH SKIN. Ingestion: swallowing a small amount will result in serious health hazard. TOXIC IF SWALLOWED. Possible Symptoms (Acute and Delayed): – Irritation Eyes, Skin, Throat, Upper Respiratory System – Headache – Drowsiness, Dizziness, Confusion – Muscle Movement Disturbance (Ataxia) – Visual Disturbance, Blurred Vision, Optic Nerve Damage (Blindness) – Skin burns, Dermatitis – Lacrimation (discharge of tears) – Rhinorrhea (discharge of thin nasal mucus), Cough, Dyspnea (breathing difficulty) – Nausea, Vomiting – Reproductive Toxicity – Kidney and Liver Effects Target Organs: – Eyes, Skin, Respiratory System – Central Nervous System – Gastrointestinal Tract This area provides critical information about the most pertinent symptoms and health effects that may manifest following exposure to a hazardous product. This includes: – Acute Symptoms/Effects: information on the immediate effects that can occur (within minutes) shortly after exposure. This is dependent on the route of entry the hazardous product enters the body from. Examples: irritation, nausea. – Delayed Symptoms/Effects: information on the effects that occur (hours or longer) some time after exposure to a hazardous material. This is dependent on the route of entry the hazardous product enters the body from. Examples: headache, blurred vision, etc.
