Hammer, screw driver, shovel, rake, edger, saw, spade, trowel,
hoe, etc., have the potential to cause serious injury, if not
properly used for the right task.
Prevention Points
Review the General Health & Safety Best Practices section on
page 11 before performing any task.
Check individual tools for hazards or damages requiring repair.
Ensure shovels and rakes are turned down when not in use.
During and after use, store tools in a safe and secured location,
including when transporting.
Maintain tools as directed by the manufacturer.
