Always shut off the power before atempting to clear plugged equipment. Stored Energy can occur in devices and areas of equipment which still can move even after main energy sources have been turned off. Such as equipment that uses hydraulics. Electrical hazards are dangerous conditions such that contact or equipment failure can result in electric shock, arc flash burn, thermal burn, or blast. Hot Surfaces are surfaces that have become heated as a result of using a piece of equipment and may remain heated afterwards. This also includes the surface of the equipment.
