inspection of either a truck or trailer. Review Minor and Major defect
protocols from the above information. Demonstrate how to record the
information on the checklist and discuss the following:
Are repairs tagged to note action is necessary and that the vehicle
should not be used?
Are there preventive maintenance schedules and programs in place
for all vehicles and equipment?
Is management signing inspection sheets on a regular basis?
What should you do when a major or minor defect becomes apparent
in transit?
