It can be used to foster a secure work environment and give employees the knowledge and tools necessary to navigate and mitigate potential hazards associated with lockout. Please take the time to observe lockout activities, to identify potential hazards that can lead to worker injury and harm. Ensure lockout practices are being followed by workers. Supervisor Responsibilities Ensure all authorized and/or affected workers have received LOTO training. Ensure that all required lockout devices are in good repair and available for workers. Ensure LOTO points remain easily identifiable and clear of obstructions. Ensure all LOTO tags are legible and contain required information. LOTO program/process is up to date and available for workers. Ensure that workers are following the lockout program and procedures.
