Position heavy single loads to one side of beam to improve stability. 2. Keep spacing between pallet and post to prevent unwanted contact. 3. Ensure safety pins fasten beam to the posts to prevent unwanted movement. 4. Keep spacing between top of load and bottom of beam to prevent unwanted contact with the pallet load. Supervisor Responsibilities Perform a regular walk-through inspection of racking systems looking for damage and unstable loads. Ensure rack damage is replaced or repaired according to manufacturer specifications and reviewed by an engineer when necessary. Ensure mobile equipment operators around racking are competent to operate safely. Ensure workers working with racking systems are trained to identify and report rack damage. 1 3 4 2
