GLOBAL PANDEMIC Most employers (75%) have inquired about the vaccination status of employees and nearly three quarters of employers say they are taking some action with employees who are unvaccinated. In workplaces with vaccination policies, that number increases to 91%. There is agreement across all sectors, and at all levels of development, that near universal vaccine rates will be needed to facilitate full reopening after the pandemic. Nearly three quarters of respondents wish the government would mandate employee vaccines. That number is a slightly lower in Leading organizations (67%). Half of employers who responded say they expect that employees will look for employment elsewhere if they are required to return to the workplace. Thankfully, overall, 85% of respondents also indicate that their employees feel comfortable expressing return-to-office wishes, so there is an opportunity to co-create what comes next. The top four accommodations are: 1   Preferences around flexibility 2   Allowing/continuing work from home 3   Explain decisions through managers 4   Ask employees their preference Kiran Kapoor, Vice President of Service Delivery, says that at WSPS, employees were asked "Do we want to be a virtual first company?"
