Score: ___ /7
Three action steps for consideration:
REVISIT AREAS TO FOCUS ON – Complete the WSPS Gap Analysis
Tool at least once a year. This will provide insight into the maturity
of the organization's PHSMS implementation so far with respect to
areas to strengthen and focus on.
INTEGRATE THE APPROACH ACROSS THE ORGANIZATION – To remove
silos, integrate the PHSMS and the OHS management system into
one system that's aligned with human resource (HR) initiatives.
TRAIN PHSMS FACILITATORS – Train individuals who have been tasked
to lead the PHSMS initiative in the core competencies that will
support their efforts to design, implement, and maintain a PHSMS.
BUILDING BLOCK 8

continually improve a psychological health and safety management
system (PHSMS) aligned to the National Standard.
