To reduce the potential stress that comes with this combination of demands, it is important that workplaces support and encourage work-life balance. Life the organization, employees play a key role in prioritizing work-life balance for themselves. Valuing balance allows employees to maintain concentration, confidence, responsibility and a sense of control over their work. This is positive for the organization as well, as it mitigates the risk of burnout and instead supports employees to perform at their best every day.
