More leaders are recognizing that a big change is happening, destabilizing the norm
concerning mental health priorities in the workplace. The reasons behind this shift are
multifaceted and include both social and economic factors. Everyone has experienced
mental health issues – directly or indirectly. Forward-thinking organizations are putting
a focus on equity and levelling the playing field for employees regardless of gender,
race, disability, religion, sexual orientation, or age.
