Workplace Harassment Training – Tips for Employers As an employer, you must provide information and instruction that is appropriate for the worker on the contents of the policy and program with respect to workplace harassment. Here are some suggestions to help you ensure that you have an effective training plan in place. Table 1 sets out your mandatory training obligations under the Occupational Health and Safety Act, along with suggested good practices. Table 2 outlines what your training program should cover, along with suggested good practices, to help you select or design a training program. Table 3 outlines recommended good practices for supplementary training; these recommendations are not required by law, so are entirely optional at your discretion.
