10 • Institute for Work & Health (IWH) Establish a project team to bring together the experts needed to embed ES curriculum into an existing OHS training program. This requires people with expertise in the development of ES curriculum and people with knowledge about the development and maintenance of the OHS curriculum in the current training program. For example, the project team might include: • a project coordinator, • instructional designers, • training professionals, • trainers/instructors, and • essential skills experts. Ensure the curriculum development team consults with the instructors of the program. It will be important to have the instructors' commitment to the initiative and to draw on their expertise in meeting trainees' learning needs. Identify at the outset of the project who will train the instructors on the delivery of the modified curriculum. If formal evaluation of the program is to be undertaken (which is advisable if resources permit), expertise in program evaluation and data analysis will also be required.
