Workplace Mental Health: What Health and Safety Committees Should Know is a one-day instructor-led training solution that is designed to help health and safety committee members evolve traditional ways of thinking of Occupational Health and Safety to include a more holistic approach that is inclusive of overall health and safety: physical, mental and social. This training solution has been created, in collaboration with Dr. Martin Shain, a pioneer in workplace mental health advocacy.
This course is available in a public classroom, either in-person and/or virtually. Private delivery is available for employees in your workplace, either in-person or virtually.

Note: Virtual Training is currently available in English only. Participant requirements for virtual include a webcam, capable hardware, software & internet. Though the session is targeted to workplaces with 20 or more regularly employed workers across all sectors and sub-sectors, specifically health and safety committee members, it is also open anyone who is interested in starting the conversation to understand how mental injury and mental distress impacts the workplace. The audience will be seeking the knowledge, skills and tools to be more confident and effective when assessing and addressing psychological health and safety risks in their workplace.
Workplace Mental Health: Awareness Session, is a two- hour, general consulting solution that focuses on reducing the stigma of workplace mental health and discussing how we can begin to work towards creating both physically and mentally safe and healthy workplaces.
