In our interactive two-day course, participants will learn the essential principles involved in the safe operation of a lift truck. These principles include:
- Understanding the limitations that affect truck stability and safe loading criteria
- Recognizing the hazards ahead of time that present a risk to your and those around the truck
- Understanding the fundamentals of handling high-risk loads
- Knowing the legal responsibilities associated with lift trucks
Topics include
Supervisors, lead hands, lift truck operators, and health and safety committee members or representatives. A detailed two-page record of training including a wallet card will be issued to those who satisfactorily complete the course with a grade of 90 per cent or higher. The record of training expires after three years.
