On November 22 WSPS received a certificate from SAI Global in acknowledgment of our ISO 9001:2008 Certification achievement.
ISO certifications have been offered from the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), the world’s largest developer and publisher of International standards for more than 30 years.
The ISO certification process specifies requirements for a quality management system where an organization:
Needs to demonstrate its ability to consistently provide products that meet customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
Aims to enhance customer satisfaction through the effective application of the system, including processes for continual improvement of the system and the assurance of conformity to customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
After an ISO audit was performed at WSPS, it found that our Quality Management System complies with the audit criteria, and that we have been effective in achieving continual improvement and system objectives.
“WSPS adheres to the highest standards in the delivery of the health and safety solutions we provide to assist our customers in achieving their prevention goals,” said Elizabeth Mills, President and CEO, WSPS. “This is an important demonstration of our commitment to being a trusted health and safety provider.”
The registration covers the Quality Management System of all of WSPS for the design, production and delivery of various occupational health and safety related information, products and services including training, conferences and events, consulting, and volunteer and community services. It includes within its scope the WSPS offices in London, Ottawa, Sudbury, Thunder Bay and Mississauga.
