Distracted Driving Pavilion
Courtesy of the Ministry of Transportation, join Canada Pro Drivers, CAA, OPP, Arrive Alive and Teens Learn to Drive, WSPS and Infrastructure Health and Safety Association (IHSA) in an fully interactive pavilion for fun and educational experiences that will engage everyone. Pedal an adult-sized go cart through the first half of a 100 ft. course and don a pair of impairment goggles while you try to finish the second half of the course.
High-Risk activities need specialized programs and best practices. This Pavilion - hosted by the Infrastructure Health and Safety Association (IHSA) and sponsored by Honeywell and PCL Construction - bring this all together for you. With sessions on air quality, hand safety, mobile app assessments technology, OH&S Management Systems for High Risk Work (COR™) and confined spaces, you will gain valuable knowledge to assist you back at your own workplaces!
NEW! Escape Challenge – Thinking Inside the Box. - Join us in the High-Risk Pavilion for a fantastic activity based on the popular “Escape Room” concept. Grab a friend or 3, and sign up for your very own escape room experience. In just 10 minutes, you will be asked to solve some puzzles, earn a key and see if you can escape (limit of 4 people at a time – available on Day 1 only, May 2).
