Since 2008, the Ministry of Labour’s Occupational Health and Safety Branch has been meeting with the public to obtain feedback and insights on how it can improve its enforcement efforts, including the development of new tools and resources, identification of firms and hazards and blitz topics.
More recently, these strategic consultations have included the ministry’s Prevention Division, Workplace Safety & Prevention Services, and other health and safety associations to discuss how the system can deliver on the priorities set out in the Healthy and Safe Workplaces strategy.
In early 2015, the Ministry of Labour and Workplace Safety & Prevention Services will again be meeting with the public to discuss

Industrial sector: January 15, 2015, 2:00pm – 4:00 pm
Small business: January 26, 2015, 7:30 am – 9:30 am
Vulnerable workers: January 26, 2015 10:00 am – 12:00 noon
